Gor Mahia sponsors Tuzo mill will not renew Gor Mahia’s contract can exclusively reveal the new development.

Tuzo and Gor Mahia signed the 2 year deal in 2010 extending it in 2013 but the milk producing company decided not to extend the contract that ends on March 31st 2014.

Grapevine has been rife that the sponsors have not been impressed by the image created due to hooliganism from a section of fans who have soiled the name of the top club that won the 1987 Mandela cup.

A source at Gor Mahia who sort anonymity intimated to Soka25east that they were currently trying to source for new sponsors to help bridge the gap that will be left when Tuzo pulls out.

“Tuzo have informed Gor Mahia that they will not be renewing the contract after it expires in March.This is a blow to the club because it comes at a time we have so much engagement that include the league and continental matches.The wage bill for the players and technical bench was handled by Tuzo and we dont think the gate collections will sustain the huge wagee bill”
